The short version: your photo is never stored on our servers. It is sent for processing, the result comes back, and the only lasting copy lives in your own browser on your own device — where you can delete it at any time. Everything below explains that in full, including the analytics we do run.
1. Who we are
Aaina Dekho ("we", "us") operates aainadekho.com and the virtual try-on studio at aainadekho.com/app. You can reach us any time at hello@aainadekho.com.
2. Your photo
When you upload a photo to create your model, this is exactly what happens:
- Your browser resizes and compresses the image on your device before anything is sent.
- The compressed image is transmitted over an encrypted connection to our processing endpoint, which passes it to a third-party AI image-processing provider to generate your model and try-on images.
- We do not write your photo, or any image generated from it, to a database, a file store, or any other server-side storage. It exists only for the duration of the request.
- Your photo and your generated model are saved in your browser's local storage, on your own device. This is what lets you return without uploading again. You can clear it from within the app, or by clearing your browser's site data, at any time.
We do not sell your photo. We do not use it to train any model of our own. We do not publish it or share it with other users.
3. Analytics and measurement
We do collect usage data. Claiming otherwise would be untrue, so here is the complete list:

Your uploaded photo is never sent to any of these tools. Session recordings capture page interactions, not the contents of your camera roll.
4. What we do not collect
- We have no accounts, so we never ask for a name, password, address, or date of birth.
- We do not take payments, so we never see card or bank details.
- We do not ask for your phone number or email unless you choose to write to us.
5. Cookies and local storage
We use browser storage for two purposes: keeping your model available on your device between visits, and the analytics tools listed above, which set their own cookies to recognise a returning browser. Blocking cookies in your browser settings will not stop the try-on from working.
6. Who else sees your data
We share data only with the service providers needed to run the product: our hosting and serverless platform, the AI image-processing provider described in section 2, and the analytics tools in section 3. They process data on our instructions. We do not sell data to anyone, for any purpose.
7. Your choices
- Delete your photo and model: clear it in the app, or clear site data for aainadekho.com in your browser. Because we hold no server-side copy, that removes it completely.
- Opt out of analytics: browser "Do Not Track" and most ad-blockers will stop PostHog and the Meta Pixel from loading. The product works fully without them.
- Ask us anything: write to hello@aainadekho.com and we will answer.
8. Children
Aaina Dekho is not intended for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly process photos of children. If you believe a child has used the service, write to us and we will help you clear the data from that device.
9. Changes
If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will also be announced on the home page.
